Description

Seggiole Boutiques Apartments is a project born more than a year ago with the idea of offering a new quality level of hospitality.
Thanks to the collaboration of the architect Giulia Marroni, who completed her studies at the University of Florence, the apartments have been finely restored with a careful search for materials and finishes, combining characteristic elements of the Florentine reality with design furniture and technology, aiming to offer a stay with maximum comfort for our guests.

THE SPACE

The Ginestra apartment, named after the yellow Tuscan flower, is a design and luxurious apartment, thought for people who enjoy a more comfortable vacation. It is not only a place where to sleep but to spend the time.
The apartment has been renovated with particular attention to the details and the lighting, designed specifically for each environment and equipped with both Smart and classic controls (you can control lights, heating and air conditioning with your voice, otherwise you can use the tablet in the apartment or just the classic switches on the wall).

The first thing you see when entering the living room is the orange sofa that converts into a queen-size sofa bed, next to it there is a round table with deign chairs where having a meal during the day time would be a pleasure as can be admired the large windows that overlook the typical ceilings of the Florentine houses.
It is a room with lots of light and a perfect resting place when closing the windows. It has a corner with an armchair where you can enjoy a good book or a glass of wine during break time. We kept the original Liberty tiles on the floor, which makes it a modern place without leaving aside the Tuscan touch that we like so much. The kitchen is next door in the same area as the living room however, with enough space to be independent of each other. Hand made with gray resin by local artisans, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils as well as an induction cooker, with a black Smeg refrigerator will give the place a chic and elegant touch. Following the internal area there is the beautiful bathroom made of white and black marble, with a rain shower with high pressure, perfect for after a long day of walking and shopping. Next to the bathroom is located the room, decorated in mint color and with original photo frames from ancient Florence, a king-size bed with a topper that will make your sleeping hours a real rest, two windows that face the typical internal courtyards of the Florentine buildings and two closets, spacious enough to place your belongings.

The apartment is designed to ensure comfort yet not forgetting about the environment. You can reach a temperature of 23.5 degrees Celsius (74 Fahrenheit) during summer and 22 (72 Fahrenheit) during winter.
However, you can adjust the temperature with your voice, with the tablet or with the classic controls (wall display or thermostat).

THE AREA
During the day, the area is full of life – there are many leather shops around the square and nearby streets, with the Sant’Ambrogio market acting as a main draw for residents and tourists alike as it offers fresh local produce, meats, cheeses and more every morning. The streets around the market offer various places to eat a quick and budget-friendly lunch, with many pizzerias and restaurants on the nearby Via de’ Macci and Borgo La Croce.
Once evening falls, the area around the Santa Croce square and most of the neighborhood come alive as the restaurants, cafes and clubs fill up with people enjoying an evening out. There are many restaurants in the area, offering both traditional Tuscan cuisine and a more modern re-visitation as well as ethnic options.
